Market Update
- According to the latest data from real estate firm Zillow, home values are still rising in most markets, but the rate of appreciation has slowed considerably, making the housing market less competitive for buyers.

- After a modest decline last month, existing-home sales bounced back in September to their highest annual pace of the year, according to the National Association of Realtors.
