According to a new report from, Philadelphia ranked as the 6th best place in the country for newlyweds to live. Here is what they considered as factors:
First, they considered only U.S. cities with populations over 1 million. From there, the rankings were determined by looking at the percentage of married couples, the divorce rate, theaverage credit score and the number of hours city residents worked each week.
Philadelphia earned the sixth spot largely due to its low divorce rate, “proactive” attitude towards finances and relatively low number of hours per week worked (resulting in couples being able to spend more time together).
