Celebrating The Year Of The Horse

Chinese-New-Year-2014-680uwThe Chinese New Year is the most important traditional Chinese Holiday. It is often called the Lunar New Year.  2014 recognizes the spirit of the year of the horse. The Uwishunu blog had this to say about the new year:

In all corners of the city, traditional Chinese performances, educational experiences and food-centric events take the spotlight during the upcoming weeks in honor of the Lunar New Year.

This year marks the Year of the Horse, and for those born during a previous Year of the Horse (1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002), you’re in luck, it’s going to be a great year.
